I stayed here over the recent Pub In The Park weekend in St Albans and had an excellent experience. The staff were really friendly from the receptionists to the breakfast staff and the cleaning team. The hotel has great amenities including complimentary breakfast which was delicious, extensive parking spaces, and an evening bar with food options. All in all a great trip and I will be returning when in the area.
Great place to stay. The rooms are spotless and the showers great. Really enjoyed the WiFi and fantastic breakfast, both included with the price. Situated at Jct22 on the M25, it's only 5 minutes from Jct 6a on the M1. Highly recommended.
Lovely clean well maintained hotel. Near a busy road but didn't hear a thing and I'm a light sleeper. Very comfortable bed. Lovely new shower. Great free breakfast choices. Helpful and pleasant staff. Free parking. Couldn't fault a thing
What a surprise to find such a gem off the M25! The reception staff when I arrived were lovely (the evening of the 10th Dec) and departed (the 11th) and to my surprise the room was well designed, in a contemporary style and moreover, spotlessly clean! The buffet breakfast was decent too (as you'd expect for a chain). I was so impressed for the price. I generally stay in Premier Inns for business (simply a bed for the night) but if this is the Holiday Inn experience, I'll be booking again!
I really enjoyed it there, beds were comfy, breakfast was good, The only thing I didn't like was the fact that on the website it £81 for a room with two single beds, then when you go pay they add on £13.96 tax recovery fees, (what does that even mean) And £31.03 service fees WHY ADD IT ON !!!! total £126.76 Just tell us it's £125.76 Hotel good, price iffy
I stayed with my family for 4 nights, and there is free breakfast for every night you stay.The room was clean and beds were comfortable.The shower was modern.The staff were nice,especially the night staff.One of the best hotels i have stayed in.
Great hotel with a good breakfast. My wife and I stayed here with our 2 grandchildren overnight as we were going to the near by Harry Potter world. Only 20 minutes away. Comfy beds , clean, and great walk in shower with soap/ shampoo / shower gel provided. Also a note saying if you’d forget necessary items ie razor, sanitary towels, toothbrush that the hotel would provide these as a courtesy
Don't be put off by the big name, this is a local hotel with a big heart! The hotel is spotless, with a friendly and helpful team, and free parking. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are also very supportive of local events such as the annual charity fundraising project St Albans Postboxes. They donate space for us to display our 100 toppers, and welcome hundreds of visitors to pop in and view them on our Viewing Day. We've also used the Meeting Room, with excellent facilities. We had several wheelchair visitors who commented on the excellent accessibility. Nothing is too much trouble for Will and his team. The hotel is in a good location for visiting St Albans and the surrounding areas - highly recommend.
